PermaLink Osirusoft
Had to remove relays.osirusoft.com from DNSBL lookups on all hosts here.

According to a number of threads on NANAE (typical example), Joe Jared has listed 0.0.0.0/0 (== all of IPV4) so anyone using the list will reject all mail.

Actually that has not been the case here. Attempts to look up any host in the relays.osirusoft.com zones just fail with "can't find 2.0.0.127.relays.osirusoft.com: Server failed".

Just the same, we are no longer doing DNSBL lookups on any Osirusoft zone. Domino admins, I suggest you do the same.

Thanks for sharing this today, Chris... I read the posting and forwarded the info to our Notes administrator for reference. He read the info before heading to a client site to finish an ND6 upgrade. When they ran into a bounce from that list, he knew about it right away, showed him my email referencing your site, and they resolved the issue quickly. They thought it was great how we were on top of things and shared info within our office so freely.

You made us look really good!

I have rather mixed feelings about this as you might imagine.

One the one hand, I am delighted to have been able to help you in some small way. But on the other, I am saddened that my assistance to you was as a bearer of bad tidings.

Osirusoft is the second DNSBL to be killed by DDoS recently (remember Dorkslayers). It won't be the last
