PermaLink I like Bill. I really do...
... but Bill is not Microsoft.

This new Bill and Jerry Show is much better than the first (though I didn't hate that one as much as some people), but neither makes me want to buy Microsoft products, or like Microsoft any better.

It's all harmless fun to be sure but, if the aim of the exercise is to make Microsoft more likeable, then it won't work.

But it has worked a bit, it is not intended to make you rush out abnd buy Vista, just to make you think of MS as a bit more 'human'

Ian - Write out 100 times:

"Bill Gates is not Microsoft."

I thought that the 2nd was better than the first as well, both are mildly amusing and pointless, just like the Seinfeld show was, which I think is the motivation. Is this what companies do for advertising when they currently don't have any products that people really want? (eg Vista, Office 2007)
