Quite spookily accurate, apart from the actual technology of course. The ZDnet blog says that it was made in 1967! It goes to show that the ideas of home shopping, banking and email are the important things.. it was just a question of waiting for technology to catch up.. and if you factor in the home monitoring then I'd say it's taken no less than 40 years to come to fruition.
