There is an "industry" in the UK of selling unlock codes, such as here: http://www.mobtec.net/unlock_form/Blackberry/7230.php

Nice new look, Chris! The Power Of The Schwartz needs a facelift, soon. I'm thinking of going to two columns instead of three due to perpetual problems with IE CSS handling.

Thanks Rich.
Actually there are three columns here so far as Blogsphere is concerned. The CSS treats one of them slightly differently. Can you spot it?

I haven't a clue.

Chicklet bar is the RH column.

Try this: RightColumn{display:none}
A design is done when there is nothing left to remove.
7. Chris Linfoot07/02/2006 08:24:33
You mean <body style="display: none;" >

Nope. But I forgot the #. See result here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vowe/96772700/

Done. Happy now?

Much better. Now there is a new box with those decorations in the left margin though.
Seriously, if you add the yellow stripe in the main bar as well, so that it continues from above the design will be even more natural. The photo on the right with the margin navigation on the left hurts my eye a little bit. If you would please the search field where the photo is now, then people will find it where they are looking.
And last but not least: If you put a container around the site and let it center itself in the browser window, it becomes almost perfect.

I may do that when I get time. Thanks for the tips.
I only started looking at this after your "Holy Grail" post the other day but implementing that requires hacking the Blogsphere template design (which I often do, but try to avoid as it makes upgrading difficult).
Similarly implementing your most recent suggestion requires a fundamental BlogSphere hack (the same one actually), being an additional <div> wrapped around the entire site.
Declan/Blogspgere chefs - you listening? Blogsphere could really use an additional <div> just inside <body>.

Chris,
Did you have any luck unlocking the BlackBerry 7230? If so, how did you go about doing it? I am dubious of the various links I find as I have been scammed before for another phone unlocking service. They took the money, but the code never came.
Thanks,
Mike Rouse

Sorry Mike, no.
